Assistant General Manager

Oversees supervision and monitoring of CIS to meet regulatory standards, best practices, financial and capital requirements and professional standards to promote market integrity, build investor confidence and develop a quality Malaysian Capital Market.

  • A strong first degree preferably in Accounting, Economics, Law or other relevant fields.
  • At least five (5) years of direct working experience in unit trust industry, preferably in product or compliance division.

Auxiliary Police

Execute assigned safety and security tasks to ensure operational excellence for staff and visitors.

  • Malaysian citizens between 18 to 25 years of age
  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with credit in Bahasa Malaysia and passes in three other subjects, one of which must be in English
  • Height of at least 170 cm for men and 165 cm for women
  • Weight of at least 50 kg for men and 47 kg for women
  • Chest measurement of at least 81 cm and 86 cm when inhaling (women excluded)
  • v/6/9 vision/sight for both left and right eyes when tested separately without spectacles or contact lenses
  • Able to identify colour and possess perfect hearing
  • No criminal record

Experience would be an advantage

Selected candidates will have to undergo and pass a nine (9) weeks' " 'Kursus Asas Polis Bantuan' " training and must be ready to work on shifts.

Melaksanakan tugas keselamatan yang diamanahkan untuk memastikan kecemerlangan operasi untuk kakitangan dan pelawat.

  • Warganegara Malaysia berumur 18 hingga 25 tahun
  • Lulus Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) dengan kepujian dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Malaysia dan lulus tiga (3) mata pelajaran lain termasuk Bahasa Inggeris
  • Mempunyai syarat-syarat ukuran badan dan pancaindera seperti berikut:
  • Tinggi sekurang-kurangnya 170 sm untuk lelaki dan 165sm untuk wanita tanpa sepatu;

TRANSACTION DISCLOSURES DEPARTMENT

Senior Executive

The Transaction Disclosures Department's main objective is to promote enhanced disclosures under the current disclosure-based regulatory regime.

The candidate's role is to analyse corporate transactions with the objective of ascertaining whether the disclosures relating to the background, merits and corporate governance issues arising from the transactions are adequate, meaningful and not misleading. The candidate is expected to assist in the review of disclosures made by listed companies on major corporate transactions with a view to making recommendations on enhancing the disclosures and to ensure that the disclosures made are in compliance with the relevant securities laws, regulations and guidelines. The candidate will also be required, from time to time, to assist in research and analysis in relation to any developmental project undertaken by the Transaction Disclosures department.

Senior Manager

  • Formulate and review policies, guidelines, practices & procedures relating to Corporate Finance & Investments (CFI) so as to ensure consistency in practice across CFI
  • Review and make appropriate recommendations on Bursa's submissions for listing requirements reform to ensure regulatory objectives under the Capital Markets and Services Act are met
  • A strong first degree

  • 6-10 years of relevant working experience will be considered favourably

Requirements

A broad range of multi-disciplinary skills and experience in law, economics, finance, accounting, information technology, human resource and related disciplines would be suitable. Candidates should be analytical and conceptual, able to grasp and apply theory and enjoy robust discussion. Strong communication and analytical skills are key requirements. Individuals with relevant capital market experience or academic qualifications have an advantage.

 

Other General Requirements

  • A strong first degree in law, economics, finance or accounting with relevant industry experience and knowledge
  • Two (2) to eight (8) years' relevant experience for the job and seniority
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and relevant technical areas
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as sound judgment
  • Excellent inter-personal skills and willingness to work in a diverse team
  • Exceptional ability to write, communicate and operate under pressure
